As a user of elbe, I think making rm 'smart' would be even more confusing.
Why don't we just have two archives, pre and post fine tuning.
That way, everyone is free to use this feature as fits.
I think it's bad to put too many restrictions on this feature.
Also I wouldn't prevent fine tuning deleting files from the archive.
Anyone using this feature should know what they are doing!
