It's my Debian mirror: I set up a local Debian jessie mirror (using aptly) to speed up package downloads. Obviously I have a problem there but my elbe initvm workflow does not provide me with enough debug information to fix it, e.g. which package failed to download if any, etc.

This is in contrast to a direct build with 'sudo elbe buildchroot ...' which spits out the whole transcript of the package installation & fine-tuning steps (not only the debootstrap step as mentioned above).
