Hi Torben,

thanks for your work.

I've picked the first 3 patches and patch 6 for the 2.9.15 release that is
available now.

For Patch 5 i sent a v2, however this is only useful, after patch 4 is merged.

Let's think about the comments on Patch 4 next year. If you don't have time to
cleanup the mount we can open an issue for this and do it at least if mount is
used the 3rd time ;)
