[elbe-devel] elbe has unmet dependencies in Debian 9.0 (stretch)

How do I get elbe 2.0 then? It's not in the apt repo I guess, but when I clone elbe from github and checkout the devel/elbe-2.0 branch I still seem to get the 1.9.x version:

$ git checkout devel/elbe-2.0
Branch devel/elbe-2.0 set up to track remote branch devel/elbe-2.0 from origin.
Switched to a new branch 'devel/elbe-2.0'

$ git status
On branch devel/elbe-2.0
Your branch is up-to-date with 'origin/devel/elbe-2.0'.
nothing to commit, working directory clean

$ ./elbe --version
elbe v1.9.22 debian 8.8
